Bulgaria hosts for the first time, after Dara’s “Bangaranga” won the 2026 contest in Vienna. The clock runs to the expected final night.
May 2027, in Bulgaria — the precise dates haven’t been announced. The host broadcaster’s production plan schedules the stage teardown for 18–24 May 2027, which points at a grand final on Saturday 15 May, with the semi-finals in the usual slots on the Tuesday and Thursday before (11 and 13 May). The countdown above uses that expected date and will be updated the moment the EBU confirms.
Not decided yet. Four Bulgarian cities bid: Sofia (Arena Sofia), Plovdiv (Kolodruma), Varna (Palace of Culture and Sports) and Burgas (Arena Burgas), with the choice expected by the end of July 2026.
The winner hosts: Dara took the 2026 contest in Vienna with “Bangaranga”, giving Bulgaria its first Eurovision Song Contest — and its second Eurovision event, after the Junior contest in Sofia in 2015.
