About this edition

The 2025 French Open men's final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner was the longest in Roland-Garros history. Alcaraz came back from two sets down to win 4-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-6(2) — his fifth Grand Slam title and his first comeback from 0-2 sets in a major.

Coco Gauff won the women's singles, defeating world number one Aryna Sabalenka 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-4 on 7 June — her first Roland-Garros title and the first time since Simona Halep in 2018 that the women's champion came back from losing the first set.
